Alice "Sue" Rapp

Alice “Sue” Rapp, 88, of Sistersville, WV, passed away December 7, 2012 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born April 6, 1924, in Sistersville, WV, a daughter of the late Irma McCoy Stewart. Sue was a former telephone operator and beauty salon owner. She was a former Sistersville Librarian and worked for Dr. Philip Webb. She was on the Board of Olive Branch Animal Rescue, she was an avid button collector and she loved and cared for any animal that came to her door. She is survived by her son/nephew, Matthew Stewart of Lewisburg, WV. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Rapp in 1978 and brother, William Stewart. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to the Olive Branch Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 183, Sistersville, WV 26175. Services will be Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Dawson officiating. Visitation will be Monday, December 10, 2012 from 6-8 pm at Myers Funeral Home.
