Andrew "Andy" Scott Racer

Andrew “Andy” Scott Racer, 29, of Lakeland, FL, passed away June 7, 2010. He was born October 4, 1980, a son of the late John C. Racer and Lelia Thoms Racer. Andy was a very fun loving, caring person and will be missed greatly. He was an employee of Thoms Contracting and a member of Carpenter's Local #186. In addition to his mother, Lelia Thoms Racer, he is survived by his daughter, Kylie Taber; brothers, Todd (Shannon) Racer and Casey Racer; nephews, Taylor and Easton Racer; niece, Addison Racer; grandmother, Jenetta Thoms; great-grandmother, Lelia Thoms and many aunts, uncles and cousins that love him dearly. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pete and Billy Racer; grandfather William (Bill) Thoms and cousin Brandee Ann Thoms. There will be a graveside service Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Archers Chapel in Little, WV with Reverend Bill Williamson officiating. In lieu of flowers an account has been set up for his young daughter, Kylie Taber, for her education.
