Anise Anetta Stewart

Anise Anetta Schofield Stewart, 93, of Sistersville, passed away February 9, 2011 at home. She was born September 9, 1917, a daughter of the late Albert Schofield and Clara Douthitt. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sistersville where she was a Sunday school teacher and in her spare time she enjoyed painting. Anise is survived by her sons, Warren (Mary) Stewart of Sistersville, Stephan (Peggy) Stewart of Barboursville and David (Dianna) Stewart of Middlebourne; grandchildren, Wesley Stewart of Tollgate, Ashley and Heather Stewart of Barboursville, Laura (Joey) Villers of Morgantown and Spc. Aaron Stewart of Fort Drum, NY; and three great-grandchildren, Matthew Stewart, Shelby Stewart and Kayla Stewart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Stewart, two sisters and five brothers. Services will be Saturday at 11:00 am at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor Phillip Richards officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 and Saturday from 10 until 11 am at Myers Funeral Home.
