Audrey L. Christy

Audrey L. Christy, 83, of Sistersville, WV, passed away September 20, 2010 at the Sistersville Center. She was born April 27, 1927, a daughter of the late Charles William Foster and Lucy Ogilbee Foster. She was a homemaker and an Avon Representative. Audrey also attended the Oxford Street Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Denzil Christy; brother, Charles Foster; sisters, Margaret Yost and Hazel Kemp and granddaughter, Angela Marie Pyles. She is survived by sons, Jimmie (Pat) Christy of East Palestine, OH and Robert (Connie) Christy of Galivant’s Ferry, SC; daughters, Linda (Richard) Pyles of Clarington, OH and Susanna (Ron) Pierce of Sistersville; sisters, Mary Jean Ramsey of Bellaire, OH and Helen Stonebreaker of Jacobsburg, OH and sister-in-law, Chloe Foster of Centerville, OH; and ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Services will be Friday at 11:00 am at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, OH with Evangelist Jerry Toothman officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9 at Myers Funeral Home and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 at Toothman Funeral Home. Interment will be at Concord Cemetery.
