Betty Brown

Betty Jean McMillan Brown, 72, of Shirley, WV, passed away on November 12, 2014 at home. She was born May 11, 1942, a daughter of the late Allen McMillan and Nina Hoerger Wright. Betty was a former Home Health Aide at Sistersville General Hospital. She was a graduate of Sistersville High School and she was a Lifetime member of the Paden City Eagles Aerie #2281 serving over 35 years. She is survived by her sons, Charles (Coleen) Brown of Sistersville, Jimbo (T.C.) Brown of St. Marys and Jeff (Kay) Brown of Shirley; daughters, Gigi (Scott) Peabody-Kane of Columbus, GA, Kelly Sue Bigelow of Paden City and Jennifer Lynn Hartline of Paden City; brothers, Charles McMillan, Bob Mack McMillan, Phillip McMillan and Chip Robinson; sister, Nila Sue Beaver; and grandchildren, Jedidiah Brown, Cody Brown, Sean Peabody, Logan Peabody, Katie Taylor, Tim Brown, Max Brown, Mikie Brown, Dylan Bigelow, Dustin Bigelow Brooke Bigelow and Jordan, Jarrod and Colton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a husband, George Brown and brothers, John Allen McMillan and Keith McMillan.
