Betty R. Gaiser

Betty R. Gaiser, 87, of Sistersville, WV, passed away March 20, 2017, at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born December 27, 1929 in Sistersville, WV, a daughter of the late Leslie Wright and Frona Kirkpatrick Wright. Betty was a past employee of Eckels Furniture, Grimm and Sons Furniture, Wells Eakin Furniture and Nalley’s Furniture; was a member of the Oxford Street Church of Christ. She loved to bake, cook and crochet. She loved working puzzles and working with flowers. Betty is survived by her sons, Greg (Connie) Gaiser of Wooster, OH, Rick (Starla) Gaiser of Sistersville, WV, Terry (Jenny) Gaiser of Parkersburg, WV and Andy (Karen) Gaiser of Sistersville, WV; grandchildren, Christine Varner, Julie (Shannon) Kidd, Stephanie (Nick) Maxwell, Selena (Travis) Russell, Justin (Lindsey) Gaiser, Jeremy (Joni) Gaiser, James Gaiser, Drew (Cait) Gaiser, Dane (Kristin) Gaiser; twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Godfrey Gaiser in 1993; brother, Glenn Wright; sister, Wanda Underwood; twin infant brothers, Boyd and Floyd and an infant sister, Mary. Services will be Saturday at 11:00 am at Myers Funeral Home with Evangelist Jerry Toothman officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 pm at Myers Funeral Home. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
