Betty Lea Sine

Betty Lea Sine, 82, of Sistersville, WV, passed away September 20, 2015 at Valley Hospice South Care Center (Liza's Place), surrounded by her family. She was born May 1, 1933, in Tyler County, WV, a daughter of the late Harley Flanagan and Audra White Flanagan. Betty was a member of the Union Chapel Church of Christ. She loved gardening and taking care of her flowers. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Sue (Mike) West of New Martinsville, WV; sons, Jim (Kathy) Sine of Middlebourne, WV and Mike Sine of Sistersville, WV; three grandsons, David (Missy) West, Bobby (Aimee) West and Scott (Courtney) West; five great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kayli, Madison, Avery and Logan; several nieces and nephews and cousins and brother-in-law, Raymond Darnell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sine; three sisters, MaryBelle Robinson, Dorthy Long, Neva Darnell and one brother, Earnest Flanagan. Services will be Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Evangelist Richard Parsons officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8 pm at Myers Funeral Home.
