Betty Travis

Betty Travis, 76, of Paden City, WV, passed away July 4, 2015, at home, surrounded by her family. She was born April 17, 1939 in Tyler County, WV, a daughter of the late Truman Dawson, Sr. and Ollie Snider Dawson. Betty is survived by her husband, John "Fred" Travis of Paden City; daughter, Teresa "Terri" Travis; granddaughter, Breanna Hayes; brothers, Truman "Jr." Dawson, Joseph (Barbara) Dawson and John Dawson; sisters, Roberta Beaver, Bonnie Boor and Barbara Ann Gump and several nieces and nephews. Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Gerald F. Richard officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Paden Memorial Gardens.
