Bobby Lee Lancaster

Bobby Lee Lancaster, 69, of Sistersville, WV, passed away November 12, 2018, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born October 3, 1949, in Sistersville, WV, a son of the late Perry Lancaster and Wilma Jean Gump Lancaster. Bobby was a retired truck driver for Slay Transportation. He was a member of the Sistersville American Legion Post #67, the Sistersville Elks BPOE #333 and the Sistersville VFW Post #6327. He also enjoyed watching western movies, NASCAR racing and his dog, Pepper. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Smith Lancaster of Sistersville, WV; sons, Bobby Lancaster, Jr. of Weirton, WV, Frank (Michele) Lancaster, Sr. of New Martinsville, WV, Josh (Misti) Lancaster and Dale (Amy) Lancaster, both of Sistersville, WV; daughters, Lisa Lancaster of Weirton, WV, Leathia (Bryan) Tinnel of Martins Ferry, OH, Susie Chichick of Sistersville, WV and Rebecca Witt of New Martinsville, WV; stepsons, David Smith of Sistersville, WV, Kevin George of Mannington, WV, James (Jenny) George of Moundsville, WV, William (Lindsey) Wade of Wheeling, WV and Ben (Sierra) White of Wheeling, WV; sisters, Bonnie Henry of Weirton, WV and Jean Medcalf of North Carolina; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Lancaster. Visitation will be Thursday from 11-1 pm until the time of service at 1:00 pm with Evangelist Skip Andrews officiating at Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, WV.
