Byron "Barney" H. Seagrave,

Byron H. “Barney” Seagrave, Sr., 89, of Middlebourne, WV, passed away June 9, 2011 at Wetzel County Hospital. He was born November 13, 1921, a son of the late Howard Seagrave and Mary Morgan Seagrave. Barney was a WWII Army veteran and a member of the American Legion Post #67. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Charlene Seagrave; sons, Byron (Fay) Seagrave, Jr. of OH, Kenneth (Lisa) Seagrave of WV and Ronald “Romeo” (Rhonda) of WV; daughters, Mary Jean (Dave) Jans of PA, Sylvia (William) Persico of FL, Donna (John) Lee of IL, Darlene (Ray) Fagan of IL, Debbie (Roger) Barnhart of Friendly, Sherry (Donnie) Snyder of WV, Sharon Brightwell of Sistersville, Elizabeth (Oscar) Smith of WV and Judy Scott of NJ; 19 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Scott Seagrave. At Barney’s request there will be no services.
