Carl W. Ash, 88, of Friendly, WV, passed away November 27, 2019 at Carehaven of Pleasants, surrounded by his family. He was born January 10, 1931, in Josephs Mills, WV, a son of the late Russell Ash and Edith Weekley Ash. Carl was a United States Korean Army veteran and he retired from the former Union Carbide. He was a member of the Friendly United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis June Slate. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Judith "Judy" Johnston Ash of Friendly, WV; sons, Jeffrey Ash of Friendly, WV and Todd "Andy" Ash of Greensboro, NC and grandson, Christopher Luke Ash. Visitation will be Monday, December 2, 2019 at Myers Funeral Home from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm with Pastor Darrell Mayfield officiating.
