Carolyn June Grimm Welch

Carolyn Grimm Welch, 81, of Wick, WV, passed away October 15, 2010 at Sistersville General Hospital. She was born June 11, 1929, a daughter of the late Robert (Doc) Chester Grimm and Sadie Railing Grimm. She was the owner of Budget Finance Company and she was a member of the Sistersville Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her husband, John James Welch of Wick; son, Daniel (Karen) Welch of Paden City; daughters, Melissa (Chuck) Placer of St. Clairsville, OH and Tabatha (Sharon Stackpole) Welch of Ponce Inlet, FL; brother, Dan Grimm of Parkersburg; sister, Carmen Silliman of Sistersville and six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jon Jeffrey Welch. Services will be Wednesday at 1:00 pm at the Church of the Nazarene with Reverend Dennis Shirer officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 pm at Myers Funeral Home. Interment will be at Friendly Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered at myersfuneralhomewv.com.
