Charles "Pepsi" Koher

Charles “Pepsi” Koher, 79, of New Matamoras, OH, passed away January 31, 2011 at Marietta Care and Rehabilitation Center. He was born August 14, 1931, a son of the late Charles C. Koher and Esther Colvin Koher. Pepsi was as a retired riverboat pilot and was a pilot for the Sistersville Ferry. He attended Gravel Hill Baptist Church. He is survived by his son, Rick (Amy) Koher of Marietta, OH; brother, Lawrence Koher of Fly, OH; sister, Betty Ritchie of Barberton, OH; three grandchildren and one great grandson and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister. Services will be Thursday at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Reverend Delmer Cameron officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 at Myers Funeral Home. Interment will be at Mehrley Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered at myersfuneralhomewv.com.
