Charles “Scott” McPeek, 72, of Sistersville, passed away February 2, 2012 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born February 20, 1939, a son of the late Edison McPeek and Mildred Wiseman McPeek Baker. Scott was a retired laborer in the Rod Room at Ormet, he was in the Army, a member of the Paden City Baptist Church and he was a graduate of Magnolia High School. He is survived by his wife, Patty Shreves McPeek of Sistersville; children, Beth Ann McPeek (Bob) Markley of Elkins, Melanie McPeek of Fogelsville, PA and Scott Allen McPeek of Paden City; step-children, Andy (Ann) Shreves of Fairmont and Tracy Rae (John) Kemp of Sistersville; sisters, Vaun Morgan of Phoenix, AZ, Pat Ebert of Paden City, Jenny (Mike) DiBetta of St. Clairsville, Sandy Kapral of Ripley, Judy (Tom) Kreitzer of Hundred and Mary Ellen (Allen) Clyburn of Wheeling; grandchildren, Charlie, John and Katherine Markley, Zachary Goddard, Autumn York, Allen McPeek, Hannah Rae, Dylan and Adam Shreves and Samantha, Nathan and Arabella Kemp; sister-in-law, Anna Grace McPeek of New Martinsville and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two half brothers, Edison and Edwin McPeek. Services will be Monday at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathan Mast officiating.
