Charlotte Arbogast

Charlotte Arbogast, 80, of Sistersville, WV, passed away August 6, 2020 at home. She was born February 10, 1940, in Elkins, WV, a daughter of the late Charles Richard Phillips and Millicent Purkey Phillips. Charlotte worked at Davis Jewelry Store and Gold Diggers Jewelry Store for 25 years. She was a member of the Pursley Church of Christ and she was a Past Worthy Matron of Martha Washington Chapter #22 Order of the Eastern Star. She was also Past President of the Sistersville Women's Club. She is survived by her son, Johnny (Joni) Arbogast of Sistersville, WV; daughter, Cathy (Ronnie) Hess of Sardis, OH; sisters, Sandra DeGross of TN and Sharon (Emmett) Cook of PA; grandchildren, Joshuah Morris, Sheyalea (Crystal) Morris, Seronne Morris, Aaron Foltz and Dana (Steven) Eyler and eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Lee Arbogast in 2009. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Pursley Church of Christ, c/o Bob Nalley, 2549 Tyler Highway, Sistersville, WV 26175. There will be a memorial service at the Pursley Church of Christ on Saturday, August 15, 2020 from noon until time of service at 1:00 PM. Inurnment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
