Cleveland "Bill" Hayes

Cleveland "Bill" Hayes, 87, of Wheeling, WV, formerly of Meadville, WV, passed away on May 27, 2015 at Liza's Place. He was born November 10, 1927 in Raven Rock, WV, a son of the late Grover Cleveland Hayes and Nellie Barnhart Hayes Huff. Bill owned and operated the Hayes Grocery in Meadville, WV for 35 years. He was a WWII US Navy veteran. He is survived by his son, William B. Hayes (Tammy) of Wheeling, WV; daughters, Pamela (Charles) Delauder, Brenda (Vance) Monroe, both of Middlebourne and Susan (Frank) Grilli of New Martinsville, WV; one brother Gilbert Barnhart of St. Marys, stepson, Michael Hamilton (Jennifer) of Sistersville, WV; and ten grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Oliver Hayes; and three sisters, Virginia Hayes, Barbara Smith, and Kathleen Fetty; and two infant sons, Michael Hayes and Grover Hayes. Visitation will be Friday, May 29, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home. Funeral services starting at 1:00 pm Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Myers Funeral Home with Bill's friend Rev.
