Cynthia "Cindy" Jo Mathews

Cynthia "Cindy" Mathews, 49, of New Martinsville, WV, passed away November 17, 2019 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital. She was born December 6, 1969, in Adrian, MI, a daughter of Lloyd Benton Forester and Barbara Dean Dawson. Cindy enjoyed talking to her friends, watching Netflix and cooking and she loved spending time with her pets. She was very kind-hearted and enjoyed helping people. She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Forester, grandparents, Berkley and Geneva Smith and Stub and Mary Forester and Uncles, Andy and Bruce Smith. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Mike Mathews, of New Martinsville, WV, step-daughter and Shania Mathews of New Martinsville, WV. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 PM at Myers Funeral Home. Visitation will also be held Friday from noon until time of service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
