David Paul Bassett

David Paul Bassett, 54, of Sistersville, WV, passed away September 8, 2010 at Sistersville General Hospital. He was born July 30, 1956, a son of Mildred Ann Smithson Bassett of Weirton, WV and the late Norman Paul Bassett. He was the City Manager for the City of Sistersville and he was a veteran of the Army. He is survived by his wife, Alisa Ann Henthorn Bassett; daughters, Cherika (Tristan) Vaughn of Sistersville and Christa (Nathan) Nash of Phoenix, AZ; brother, Allen Bassett of Brooksville, FL; sisters, Sally Greathouse of New Cumberland, WV and Donna Terraza of Baltimore, MD; and grandchildren, Abagayle Nash and Manowah Vaughn. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Jesse Bassett. Services will be Saturday at 2:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered at myersfuneralhomewv.com.
