David "Dave" Forsyth Hooley

David Forsyth Hooley, 72, of, Sistersville, WV, passed away January 11, 2016, at Marietta Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born February 11, 1943 in Quincy, Massachusetts, a son of the late David Hooley and Thelma Forsyth. Dave was retired from Bayer Corporation as a Chemical Engineer and he was a member of the Sistersville BPOE Elks #333. He loved golfing and spending time with his family, especially his two grandsons. He was also a proud supporter and scorekeeper of the TCHS Knights Volleyball team. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda Teasley Hooley; son, David Scott (Jill) Hooley of Cape Carteret, NC; daughter, Christina (Michael) Black of Chuluota, FL and grandsons, David Shane Hooley and Trent Kalman Hooley. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to the TCHS Volleyball, c/o Tracy Summers, 1993 Silver Knight Drive, Sistersville, WV 26175. His family has honored his request for cremation without a service. Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, WV, is assisting the family with arrangements.
