David Glenn “Dave” Frum, 65, of Friendly, WV passed away February 11, 2012. He was born October 10, 1946 in Sistersville, a son of the late Paul Hamilton and Marjorie Ann Hubbard Frum. He was a 1964 graduate of Sistersville High School, a veteran of the US Army Reserves, and he was retired from the former Union Carbide plant in Bens Run. He was the owner and proprietor of Frum’s Place in Bens Run, a member of Chemical Workers Union #698, a lifetime member of Elks BPOE #333 of Sistersville, American Legion Post #67, a former member of the Friendly Lions Club and International Order of Odd Fellows. Dave enjoyed spending time on the river. He is survived by one daughter, Jodie Lyn Frum and one son, Scott David Frum both of Sistersville, his companion of 22 years, Linda Hamilton, three grandsons, Craig Andrew Frum, Kyle Hamilton Frum, Joshua Dillon Frum, siblings, Pat Deaton, Don (Irene) Frum, Paul “Beanie” (Louise) Frum and several beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Joan Frum Stewart and many friends. Services will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 1 PM at Myers Funeral Home Sistersville, WV with Rev. Gene Adkins officiating. Interment will follow in Friendly Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Monday from 4:30 to 8 PM and on Tuesday from 11 AM until the time of the service. An Elks Memorial Service will be held Monday evening at 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
