David Lemasters

David Lemasters, 73, of Middlebourne, WV, passed away April 23, 2022 at Ohio State University, James Cancer Hospital. He was born September 23, 1948, in Sistersville, WV, a son of the late Columbus Lemasters and Virginia Haught Lemasters. David retired from PPG Industries as a Carpenter, was a member of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam, and he was a member of the Middlebourne Baptist Church.David adored his grandchildren.He loved spending time with them and building toys for them when they were little.He enjoyed hunting and hanging out with the family at "Camp David" and riding side-by-sides. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Kimball Lemasters of Middlebourne, WV; son, Chad (Tena) Lemasters of Middlebourne, WV; grandchildren, Zane and Zoe Lemasters; brothers, Rodney (Debra) Lemasters of Cambridge, OH; sisters, Linda (Bill) Stackpole of Parkersburg, WV and Lenore (Larry) Smith of Fernandina Beach, FL and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Mark Wesley Lemasters; daughter, Shanon Leane Lemasters; brothers, Howard, Harold, John, Lewis and Donald Lemasters and sisters, Helen Thomas and Phyllis Wright.
