David Rose

David Rose, 75, of Sistersville, WV, passed away January 4, 2021 at Sistersville Center. He was born February 24, 1945, in Tyler County, WV, a son of the late Alva Rose and Wanda Weekley Rose. Many will know Dave as the gentleman who walked to town several times a day from Cow House Road. He would always walk the railroad tracks looking for golf balls. If you were ever given the chance to give him a ride home, you were lucky to hear some of his adventurous stories. He will be missed by many. He is survived by his brother, Russell (Nancy) Rose of Paden City, WV and sister, Frances (William) Blake of New Martinsville, WV. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard, Frank and Gary Rose. There will be a private graveside service for the family.
