Deloris Placer

Deloris Placer, 92, of Sistersville, WV, passed away June 10, 2022 at Sistersville Center. She was born October 20, 1929 in Proctor, WV, a daughter of the late Charles Tuttle and Elmina Hafer Tuttle. Deloris was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Alter Guild.She was retired from Bayer Corporation as an Accounting Supervisor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, R. Herbert Placer; son, Charles Placer, great-grandson, Christian Placer; three sisters and five brothers. She is survived by her son, Stephen Placer of Sistersville, WV; grandsons, Benjamin (Amanda) Placer, Corey (Alisha) Placer, Jason (Chandra) Placer and Josh Placer; great-grandchildren, Branden Placer, Alyson (Daniel) Murphy, Zackary Placer, Haiden Placer, Hallie Placer and Ava Placer and great great-grandchildren, Coen Placer and Jace Murphy. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Sistersville.Rosary devotions will be at 11:45 am with Mass service following at noon.Private graveside service to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
