Donald Andrew Hartley

Donald Andrew Hartley, 66, of Parkersburg, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on January 18, 2014, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born September 15, 1947, a son of the late Orland Hartley and Genevieve (Batten) Hartley. He was a faithful loving husband to Juanita (Jones) Hartley; father to six daughters, Barbara Brammer, Dee Morrison, Michelle Hartley, Joyce Jones, Stephanie (Jason) Barnes and Crystal Kessinger; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Dana Cunningham and brothers, Ray Hartley and Rodney Hartley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Dorthia Hartley and brother, David Hartley. Don served for four years in the United States Army and was a war veteran of the Vietnam War era. Services will be Tuesday from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor James Bassett officiating. Interment will be at Garrett's Cemetery.
