Donald Lee Wise

Donald Lee Wise,68, of Friendly, WV, passed away at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, WV on November 21,2013. He was born in Wheeling, WV August 9, 1945. He was the son of Mae Flaherty Wise and Lester Kenneth Wise Donald was retired from Consolidated Coal Company, Powhatan Point, OH He loved playing country music and was an Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Church of Christ. His family includes his wife, Wilma Wise, four children, Patrick(Michele) Wise of Friendly, WV, Brenda Barnhart of Friendly,WV, Michael Wise of Sistersville, WV, Brian (Barbie) Wise of Farmington, WV, six grandchildren, Joshua Dawson, Andrew (Janie ) Dawson, Jeremy Dawson, Evan Wise, Logan Wise, Carolyn Wise, six brothers, Bud, Tom, Bill, Richard, Larry, Dave Iverson, three sisters, Violet, Kathryn, Beverly, In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise and Dorothy . Services will be held at Myers Funeral Home with Richard Parsons, nephew officiating. Calling hours will be 12:am to 1:00 pm, Monday, November 25, 2013 and funeral will follow. Burial will be at Friendly Cemetery.
