Donavan Broughman

Donavan Shane Broughman, 37, of Leon, WV, formerly of Sistersville, passed away January 5, 2010. He was born March 28, 1972, a son of Kay Broughman and Earl Don Broughman. He was a contract manager for Kellogg, Brown & Root at the DuPont plant at Belle, WV, a member of the Church of Christ and a member of the Moose Lodge #565 of Nitro, WV. In addition to his parents he is survived by his daughters, Kristen Taylor Broughman and Victoria Gwen Broughman of Leon, WV; stepson B.J. Munsey of Leon, WV; and brother Guy Haynes of Parkersburg, WV. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William Brady Broughman and Myrtle Mae Broughman and maternal grandparents, Victor Mercer and Kathleen Florabelle Mercer. Services will be Friday at 11:00 am at Myers Funeral Home with Evangelist Tom Butterfield officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-9 pm at the funeral home.
