Donna Wenrick Gilligan

Donna Wenrick Gilligan, 71, of Sistersville, WV, passed away June 25, 2019 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born April 13, 1948, in Dayton, OH, a daughter of the late Frank B. Wenrick and Dorothy Kuehn Wenrick. Donna worked as a higher education Administrator at Ohio University and Virginia Tech. She promoted rock concerts at college campuses and venues in the Midwest and she worked at her husband's practice for over 40 years. Donna was very active in her community. She was a past worthy matron of the Eastern Star, a member of the Lilac Twig and Lion's Club and she taught vacation bible school at the Sistersville First United Methodist Church, where she was a member. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Dr. Thomas L. Gilligan, of Sistersville, WV; daughter, Elizabeth Gilligan of Sistersville, WV; and her large extended, loving family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her in-laws, Ruth and Bill Gilligan and Aunt and Uncles. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Sistersville First United Methodist Church with Reverend Bill Dawson officiating.
