Doris Mildred Weekley

Doris Mildred Weekley, 96, died at home in Friendly, WV on January 10, 2012. She was born June 18, 1915 at Raven Rock, Pleasants County, WV a daughter of the late Barnett and Allena Buchanan Miller. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by six sons and one daughter, Roger (Claudia) Weekley of Pursley, WV, Marshall Dean Weekley of Pursley, Gary (Frances) Weekley of Friendly, Arthur Lynn (Nila) Weekley of Friendly, Lois Bernheisel of Holland, MI, Clyde (Kay) Weekley of Friendly, Carl (Cathy) of Friendly, daughter-in-law, Rada of Badger Run. 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great granchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Emery Weekley in 1974, son, Donald Keith Weekley in 1999, one sister, Effie Mercer and a brother, Paul Miller. There will be no public services. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Camden-Clark and Sistersville General Hospital along with the staff and nurses at Journey Hospice. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Doris' name to Journey Hospice, 314 Wells Street, Sistersville, WV 26175.
