Earl Kendle, Sr.

Earl P. Kendle, Sr., 86, of Paden City, WV, passed away at his home on September 12, 2023, surrounded by his family.

He was born May 7, 1937, on the family farm in Paden City, WV, a son of the late Melvin L. Kendle, Sr. and M. Francis Plummer Kendle.

Earl worked at PPG for 23 years and retired from Conalco after 22 years of service as a Machinist.  He was a Christian by faith and he enjoyed farming and hunting.  He was a 1955 graduate of Paden City High School and was active with School Band Patrons. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and his dog, Mason.

He is survived by his sons, Earl "Bob" (Ann) Kendle, Jr. and Elliott (Shawna) Kendle; daughter, Karen (Ron) Cain; grandchildren, Ashley (Mitchell) Guiler, Angie (Steve) Rankin, Matt (Amanda) Kendle, five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Ann Kendle and three brothers.

Visitation will be on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Myers Funeral Home from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm.  There will be a graveside service at 1:00 pm at Friendly Cemetery with Tim Fleeman officiating.
