Edith Owens

Edith May Owens, 79, of Sistersville, WV died on May 17, 2013, at Sistersville General Hospital. She was born in Doddridge Co., WV, December 1, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd Owens and Cronie E. Lamp Owens Summers. She is survived by her brother, Junior (Linda) Owens, Sistersville, WV, sisters Shirley(Ron) Wilkinson, Sistersville, WV, Nellie (George) Riggs, Middlebourne, WV, several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Pearl Dawson, Alice Brightwell and stepfather, Ray Summers. Services will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, WV with Rev. Bill Dawson officiating. Interment will follow at McKim Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.
