Edith Straight

Edith Straight, 83, of Sistersville, WV, passed away February 27, 2022 at home. She was born February 6, 1939, in Tyler County, WV, a daughter of the late Lester Kimble and Evelyn Rice Kimble. Edith was a member of the New Life Apostolic Church and she loved spending time with her kids.She enjoyed traveling, board games and playing on her tablet. She is survived by her sons, Raymond Straight and Lester Straight; daughters, Nora Miller and Sherry Porec; brother, Everett Kimble; sister, Barbara Shreves; grandchildren, Trinity, Jackie, Maranda, Kayla, Brian, Michelle, AJ, Matthew, Emma, Adam, Kenna, Daniel, Phillip and Shyann; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild and caregivers, Martha Yost and Mary Bassett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Straight; son, Walter "Butch" Straight; brother, Lester Kimble; sister, Vickie Williamson; and grandson, Zachary. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 5:00 PM until time of service at 6:00 PM at New Life Apostolic Church with Pastor Jay Armstrong officiating.
