Edwin L. "Junior" Keys,

Edwin L. "Junior" Keys, Jr., 72, of Sistersville, WV, passed away, July 10, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 16, 1944, in Logan County, WV, a son of the late Edwin Laverne Keys, Sr. and Ruth Thomas Keys. Junior was a retired welder with Ormet Corporation and he was also a heavy equipment operator. He loved fishing, woodworking, spending time with his grandchildren and he was a huge Mountaineer fan. He was a member of the Pursley Church of Christ. He voluntarily enlisted during the Vietnam War serving a tour for the US Air Force and a tour for the US Army receiving a Bronze Star and Air Medal Cluster. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Nancy Miller Keys; sons, Rickey (Barbie) Keys of Sistersville, Matthew (Brenda) Keys of Glen Dale, WV and Gregory (Chrissy) Keys, Sr. of Sistersville; grandchildren, Brandon Keys, Trey Keys, Linda Seckman, James Buck, Brooke Keys, Matthew Keys, Austin Lusher, Colton Lusher, Kaiden Lusher, Emily Lusher, Gregory Keys, Jr., Taylor Keys and Joshua Keys; great-grandchildren, Clayton James Seckman and Jayden Kessler; sisters, Donrita (Bud) Morris of Tucson, AZ, Sandy Brewer of Middlebourne, Sharon Powers of Belpre, OH and Sarah Keys Patterson of Middlebourne; brother, David Keys of Middlebourne and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and Thursday from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 11:00 am at Myers Funeral Home with Evangelist Tom Butterfield officiating.
