Ellen "Amelia" Kehrer Steele

Ellen "Amelia" Kehrer Steele, 83, of Sistersville, WV, passed away April 21, 2015 at Sistersville General Hospital. She was born December 17, 1931, a daughter of the late William Kehrer and Ellen Louise Howard Kehrer. Amelia was a homemaker and she worked with the Jaycees and "A Child's Christmas." She is survived by her son, Michael Edward Steele, of Sistersville; sisters, Elsie Cline and Virginia Flesher; brother, Albert Kehrer; grandchildren, Richard Anthony (Heidi) Steele of New Martinsville, Tamela (Nate) Frum of Sistersville, and Jennifer Sue Steele of Huntington; great-grandchildren, Emma Kay Steele, Hayden Steele, Evan Frum and step-grandchildren, Sammie and Jacob Frum. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Steele in 2011 and ten brothers and sisters. At the request of the family there will be a private graveside service.
