Emily B. Wright

Emily Broadwater Wright, 81, of Sistersville, W.Va., passed away on June 20, 2008, at her home. She was born on Oct. 29, 1926, a daughter of the late Ralph Archer Broadwater and the late Helen McCoy Broadwater. She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Sistersville. She graduated from Sistersville High School in 1944 and from WVU School of Business in 1948. She was a member of the Lilac Twig, OES #22, and Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. “Bob” Wright; and her brother, Joseph A. Broadwater. She is survived by a son, Tom (Joyce) Wright of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughters, Joanna (Tom) Rini of Mayfield Heights, Ohio, and Jeanette “Gigi” (Dan) Lee of Morgantown, W.Va.; grandchildren, Andy and David Wright, Robert “Bart” Olds, Frank (Tiffany) Olds, Apryl Lee, Anthony (Jennifer) Rini and Joseph Rini; and great-grandchildren, Nicole Secoy, Joey Rini and Anthony Rini. Service will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Sistersville with the Rev. Gretchen K. Weller officiating. Calling hours are from 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Myers Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Sistersville, W.Va. Services will conclude with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Sistersville.
