Evelyn D. Drain

Evelyn D. Brown Drain, 70 of Paden City, W.Va. died Thursday, March 12, 2009 in the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She was born November 26, 1938 in Pine Grove, W.Va., the daughter of the late Gaynel Burl Brown and Isabel Virginia King Brown. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James G. "Jerry" Drain. A homemaker, she was a member of the Church of God in New Martinsville, W.Va., and the Rebekah Lodge in New Martinsville, W.Va. She was an avid bowler and belonged to the Bruce Lanes Bowling League in New Martinsville, W.Va. Evelyn is survived by brothers, Frances Brown of Pine Grove, W.Va. and Keith Brown of Friendly, W.Va.; sister, Nancy Rexrode of Friendly, W.Va.; nieces and nephews; special great-niece, Bethany Littell; and great-nephew, Garrett Littell. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2009 at the Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, W.Va. with Pastor Dave Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in Paden Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 2-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
