Everett "Phil" Headley, 72, of Salem, WV, passed away, January 3, 2023 at home, surrounded by his family.
He was born March 15, 1950, in Walnut Fork, WV, a son of the late Encil Headley, Sr. and Hattie Kester Headley.
Phil was a member of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam. He retired from the West Virginia Department of Highways. In earlier years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sandra Morris Headley; daughters, Jennifer (James) Miller of New Martinsville, WV, Kimberly Miniter of Lumberport, WV and Tabitha (Shane) Shupe of Fairmont, WV; son, Chad Headley of Alma, WV; grandchildren, Jeremy Headley, Jordan Shultz, Jentry Shultz, Jaidan Headley, Brooklyn Shupe, Jacelyn Miller, Mackenzie Shupe, Skylar Miniter, Jarett Miller, Carson Shupe, Reagan Miniter and Theo Shupe; brother, Gary Headley and sister, Celouise (Bernard) Dailey.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Sonny and Ernest; sisters, Charlotte and Alice Shepherd and infant twins.
Services will be Saturday at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Albert Farley officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 pm at Myers Funeral Home. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery with full military rites.
