Florence B. Folger

Florence B. Smith Folger, 89, of Middlebourne, WV, passed away July 1, 2009 at Sistersville General Hospital. She was born October 10, 1919 in Kenmore, Ohio, a daughter of the late Eli B. and Stella L. Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness of Paden City. In addition to her parents, Florence was predeceased by her husband Arza Folger, Sr.; a son, Arza Folger, Jr.; one brother; four sisters; and one step-granddaughter. She is survived by daughters, Josephine Johnson of Wellsburg, WV, Donna (Dan) Irion of Williamsburg, CO and Bessie Cochran of Sistersville, WV; a step-daughter, Vernice Richeson of Alliance, Ohio; sisters, Ellen (Bernard) Lipscomb of New Martinsville, Betty Bowen of Okmulge, OK and Martha (Robert) Guile of Woodbridge, NJ; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; 17 step-great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren ; and 8 step-great-great grandchildren. Services are Monday, July 6, 2009 from 2-4 & 6-8 with the funeral Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 1:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Steve Merritt officiating. Burial will be at Paden Memorial Gardens.
