Florence P. Neff

Neff, Florence P., 88, of Belmont, WV, passed away May 20, 2010 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg, WV. She was born November 10, 1921 in Wood County, WV, a daughter to the late M. Rector Deaton and Wreatha E. Bayles Deaton. She was a member of the Buck Run Church of Christ and besides being a homemaker, she was a former employee of Paden City Pottery, Weirton Steel, Shovel Plant in Parkersburg, and a cook at the Friendly Grade School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Floyd Deaton and Charles "Putt" Deaton; sister, Della Mae Mace; and son-in-law, Nick Bullman. She is survived by her husband Harold E. Neff of Belmont, WV; brother, Roger Deaton of Friendly, WV; son, William Doug Neff of St. Mary's, WV; daughter Carol Sue Bullman of St. Mary's, WV; Grandsons, Todd (Frances) Bullman of Salinas, CA, and Theron (Piroon) Bullman of San Francisco, CA; great grandchildren, Caitlin and James Bullman of Salinas, CA; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2010 at the Myers Funeral Home with Evangelist Ken Keifer officiating. Interment will follow at Friendly Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
