Floyd Okle Bungard

Floyd Okle Bungard, 82, of Paden City, West Virginia passed away July 25, 2021 at his home. Floyd was born in Washington, Pennsylvania on August 22, 1938 a son of the late William and Alberta Bungard. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Alice Bungard, whom he married on October 28, 1956.Floyd is also survived by his four children and their spouses, Steve and Brenda Matthews, Mark and Lissa Bungard, Michael and Melissa Bungard and Tamara Kerns; 12 grandchildren and 1 step grandchild, Andrea, Leah, Aaron, Bridget, Alisha, Christopher, Andy, Cody, Ashley, Caleb, Lucas, Abby and Reda; eight great grandchildren, Bruce, Bella, Henry, Ameilia, Liam, Hallie, Ava and Adalind; and two siblings, Florence Beaver and Tillie Netherland. Floyd was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.He was a member of the Friendly Church of Christ and retired from Ormet after 33 years of service.Floyd enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, building and solving problems.He spent decades building and maintaining his farm and the land around it. A graveside service will be held 12:30 pm Thursday, July 29, 2021 at the Greenwood Cemetery with Preacher Jonathan Kerns officiating.
