Frances Yost Taylor

Frances Yost Patterson Taylor, 98, passed away on June 1, 2023, at Judge's Residential Board and Care Home.

She was born November 21, 1924, in Weirton, WV, a daughter of the late Gordon Yost and Flora Swartzmiller Yost.

Frances was a member of the Sistersville First Baptist Church and the SHS Class of 1943.  She was also a member of several Women's Farmer Extension Clubs.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Lou Patterson Menges; granddaughters, Tracey Cochelle Menges and Tisha Rachelle Menges Dennison; great-granddaughter, Brittany Megan Dennison; great-great grandson, Paten Lawrence Haynes and sister, Flora Lou Yost Saunders.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Clyde Patterson and second husband, Raymond E. Taylor; son, Roger Lee Patterson; son-in-law, James Lawrence Menges and sisters, Juanita Rose Yost and Julia Katherine Yost Stanley.

The family would like to thank Judge's Residential Board and Care Home for their compassion and kindness for the four years of taking exceptional care of Frances.

There will be no services.
