Frank Lee Fluharty, 77, of Middlebourne, West Virginia, passed away Friday, April 18, 2025, at Wheeling Hospital surrounded by family.
He was born August 21, 1947 in Mannington, West Virginia, a son of the late Bill and Helen Fluharty.
Frank worked at Bayer for 32 years. He was a devoted husband to his wife of 27 years, Connie; a loving father to his children, Tamara Mailhot, Alan Fluharty, and Kara Grimm; and he loved his grandchildren, Reanna Brinton, Kaiden Mailhot, Brice Mailhot, Kaylee Leichliter; great-granddaughter, Taliyah Brinton; and his couch fur buddy, Daisy.
Frank served his country honorably and faithfully in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the Sistersville American Legion Post #67, VFW Post #6327, and Elks of Sistersville. He was a kind and generous man, and he loved hunting, fishing, and telling jokes.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor Darrell Mayfield officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The Fluharty family will receive friends 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the funeral home.
