Franklin "Frank" Eugene Rose, Sr., 67, of Pennsboro, WV, passed away, November 26, 2014 at home. He was born July 12, 1947, in Sistersville, WV, a son of the late Alva Lee Rose and Wanda Lee Weekley Rose. Frank is a retired truck driver with the Local #1149. He enjoyed spending time with his many children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary Lewis Rose; sons, Franklin Eugene (Lexi) Rose, Jr. and William "Weezer" (Christina) Wilkinson; daughters, Melissa ("Bub") Higgins and Ashley ("Jimmy") Tennant; brothers, David Rose and Russell (Nancy) Rose; sister, Frances Blake; brothers-in-law, Albert Lewis and Chester Sherrell; grandchildren, Kayla, Jake, Stephen, Lisa, Paul, Christopher, Willy (Sam), Caleb, Brittany, Franklin, Abby, Hannah, Layla, Makenzie, Mariah, Georgie, Conner, Cara and Tiera; great-grandchildren, Jahaila, Jaisa, Jaiven, Abby, Desi, Aizlynne, Brayden H., Kylee, Gracie, Liam and Brayden D. and several nieces and nephews; and his precious pets, Ruby, Biscuit and Dierks. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gary and Richard; grandson, Richard and sister-in-law, Netta Sherrell. Services will be Sunday at 2:00 pm at Myers Funeral Home with Evangelist Ed Melott. Visitation will be Saturday from 1-3 and 5-7 pm at Myers Funeral Home.
