Franklin Joseph Sellers

Franklin Joseph Sellers, 70, of Friendly, WV, passed away on June 27, 2023 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

He was born August 9, 1952, in Bamburg, Germany, a son of Keith Sellers and the late Rose Sellers.

Frank retired from Momentive, former Union Carbide, after 37 years of service.  He was a member of the Sistersville ELKS BPOE #333 and Sistersville VFW Post #6327.  He loved his family, hunting, fishing and spending time at his summer camp.  He enjoyed teaching younger generations how to love nature by helping at Handicap Hunts and Fishing Tournaments.  He loved volunteering his time to help everyone he could.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Donna Sellers; son, Joseph Sellers; daughters, Sabrina (Thomas) Kyle and Christina (Matt) Corbett; grandchildren, Timothy Hunter, Johnathon Hunter, Angel Kyle, Jasmine Kyle, Hunter Harris, Aubriana Corbett, Joshua Taylor, Jessica Taylor, Callie Johnson, Zach Taylor and Carter Sellers; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda Yoho, Brenda Price, Heidi Keene and Patricia South and son-in-law, Bernie Taylor.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Lane; daughter, Dawna Diane Taylor; sister, Melissa Headley and brothers, Robert Sellers and Roger Sellers.

There will be a memorial service at the Sistersville ELKS on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 1:00 pm, followed by a Remembrance Ceremony at 6:00 pm at Sellers Camp at Friendly Landings.
