Fred C. Garner

Fred Caldwell Garner, 73, of Sistersville, WV formerly of Charlotte, NC passed away April 11, 2013 at Wetzel County Hospital, New Martinsville, WV. He was born February 19, 1940 in Charlotte a son of the late Harry and Helen Starnes Garner. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps and he had worked as a truck driver for 35 years. He is survived by two daughters, Rachel (Charles) Collins of Madison, NC, Mary (Timothy) Hamilton of Sistersville, WV, one son, David (Crystal) Garner of Madison, NC, grandchildren, Christopher, Dennis (Danielle), Michelle, Sasha, Brandon (Carey), Dustin, Hunter, Elisha, Jacob, Kenneth, Danielle, great grandchildren, Bransen, Camren, Landen, Hannah, Ragain, Silas, Justin and Dylan. He is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Garner in March 2012, one son, Kenneth Garner, and grandson Christopher Ice. There will be no services or visitation. Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, WV is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
