Freda M. Boyd

Freda M. Boyd, 89, of Sistersville, WV, passed away January 6, 2012 at Sistersville General Hospital. She was born January 13, 1922, in Sistersville, a daughter of the late Willis Ash and Ethel Brown Ash. Freda was a retired floral designer and she was a member of the Sistersville Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by daughters-in-law, Connie Boyd of Sistersville and Rita Boyd of Adrian, MI; grandchildren, Denise, Donna, Scott, Debbie, Jennifer, Eric and Bill and nine great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Boyd in 1967 and sons, Reverend Gary Boyd and Robert Boyd. There will be a graveside service Sunday at 2:00 pm at Greenwood Cemetery with Reverend Bill Dawson and Reverend Dennis Shirer officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 11:30 am until time of service at Myers Funeral Home. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered at myersfuneralhomewv.com.
