Galena Mercer

Galena Mercer, 73, of Sistersville, WV, passed away April 6, 2021 at Continuous Care Center in Wheeling, WV. She was born June 30, 1947, in Rippentuck, WV, a daughter of the late Peter Mercer and Effie Miller Mercer. Galena was a homemaker and a member of the Friendly Church or Christ.She loved family gatherings and being around people.She was always thinking of others and enjoyed making pies and fudge and taking them to Doctors and Nurses.She was especially known for sending cards to people. She is survived by her brothers, Walter (Linda) Mercer of Waverly, WV, Kenneth (Linda) Mercer of Friendly, WV and Robert (Colleen) Mercer of Oakdale, PA; sister, Joanne (Paul) Williamson of Friendly, WV; nieces and nephews and special friends, Kay and Clyde Weekley.
