Gary Lee Boyd

Gary Lee Boyd, 69, of Sistersville, WV, passed away November 8, 2010 at Sistersville General Hospital. He was born August 16, 1941, a son of Freda Ash Boyd and the late William Frederick Boyd. Gary served as the devoted Pastor at the Friendly United Methodist Church in Friendly, WV for 22 years. He is survived by his wife, Connie Sue Waybright Boyd of Sistersville; sons, Anthony Scott Boyd of New Martinsville and Eric D. Boyd of Laurel, MD; daughter, Denise Michelle Boyd of Locust Grove, MD and grandchildren, Justin, Tessa and Donald Boyd of Sistersville. In addition to his father, Gary was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Annette Boyd and brother, Robert Boyd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Journey Hospice, 314 S. Wells Street, Sistersville, WV 26175 or the Sistersville Ministerial Association, 610 Main Street, Sistersville, WV 26175. There will be a memorial service Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Friendly United Methodist Church with Reverend David Erenrich and Reverend Bill Dawson officiating. Memorial visitation will be Friday, November 12, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 at Myers Funeral Home. Interment will be at Friendly Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered at myersfuneralhomewv.com.
