Gary Cooley

Gary Wayne Cooley, 60, of Sistersville, WV, formerly of Michigan, passed away suddenly on March 28, 2017. He was born July 25, 1956, in Detroit, MI, a son of the late Austin Cooley and Blanche Hatfield. Gary was beloved by all who met him. An auto mechanic by trade, a skill he acquired while serving in the U.S. Army, it was also his passion in life. His love of motorcycles spanned his life, and his joy while riding was clearly evident. Gary could always be counted on as a friend, father, and husband, and he will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen "Kat" Lindstrom Cooley of Sistersville, WV; daughters, Nicole (Gary) Geilow, of Southgate, MI and Erica (Jon) Angeles of South Rockwood, MI; sisters, Patricia Sarazin of Monroe, MI and Tammy (Matt) Quirouette; grandchildren, Autumn, Noah, Justin, Jacob, Joey, Jaden, Jaxon and Elaina. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Cooley. Services will be Saturday from 12:00 PM until time of service at 4:00 PM at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor Darrell Mayfield officiating.
