Gary Leon Forrester

Gary Leon Forrester, 75, of Middlebourne, WV, passed away on June 29, 2016 at Wetzel County Hospital. He was born July 6, 1940, in a son of the late Collie Lee Forrester and Sara Hammel Forrester. Gary was a retired machine operator at Clayton Marcus Furniture in Taylorsville, NC. He loved woodworking and made furniture and kitchen cabinets. He also loved to hunt and fish. He is survived by his daughters, Tammy (Roger Hayes) Forrester of Paden City, WV and Erica (Tim Martie) Keller of Hannibal, OH; son, Brian Forrester of New Martinsville, WV; brother, Donald Forrester of New Martinsville, WV; sisters, Patricia Matthews of Middlebourne, WV and Rosaline Harter of Paden City, WV; grandchildren, Ashleigh Forrester, Adam Howell, Kaylee Forrester and Brian Lee Forrester, Jr. and two step-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Richard Forrester, Robert Forrester, William Forrester and Mark Hubbard and sister, Norma Jean Shields. Family will receive friends on Friday, July 1, 2016 at Myers Funeral Home from 3:00 pm until time of funeral service at 8:00 pm with Reverend Darrell Cramer officiating.
