Geneva Cumbridge

June 25, 1933 — July 20, 2023

Geneva Cumbridge, 90, of Friendly, WV, passed away July 20, 2023 at Sistersville General Hospital.

She was born June 25, 1933, a daughter of the late Francis "Frank" Dailey and Izona Cross Dailey.

Geneva was a member of the Paden City Church of God.  She enjoyed crafting, sewing, quilting and painting.  She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

She is survived by her son, Randy (Stacey) Whaley of Sistersville, WV; daughter, Amy (Stephen) Grose of Friendly, WV; sisters, Frances Tippins and Anna Mae Brown; grandchildren, Vanessa Kendall, Lindsay (Zack) Minger, Kylie (Tyler) Bowe, Alexis (Evan Hopkins) Grose, Brittney Strum, Jordan Strum and Jacob Strum and great-grandchildren, Braelyn Whaley, Harper and Swisher Minger and Aziel and Zamari Hopkins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Herbert Whaley and Wilbert Cumbridge; brother, Jerry Dailey and sister, Vera Marie Dailey.

Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 pm at Myers Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 11:00 am at Myers Funeral Home with Pastor Joyce Hill officiating.  Interment will be in Friendly Cemetery.
